Ernestina & Vadim’s Catholic wedding

Ernestina & Vadim’s wedding ceremony was held at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Vancouver, and for the photos we headed over to Queen Elizabeth Park.  The wedding ceremony and the church were both beautiful!  It’s not that often I get to shoot a Catholic wedding…  but I love photographing them.  I had a few restrictions on where I could photograph from but I was very careful to abide by them.  The priest expressed his appreciation for that afterwards, apparently not everyone listens?
And of course wedding photographs in Queen Elizabeth park is a classic.  Ernestina’s parents had their wedding photographs taken there and it meant a lot for them to have their daughter’s pictures taken there as well.  I’ve heard stories of how busy the park is with weddings on a Saturday but we were fortunate to not have any other weddings there at the same time.  Also the park now has new rules about staying on the walkways which makes it harder to get photographs there now.  But as you can see I got some great ones at the park…  some of which they recently ordered in large canvas prints.
